Instagram: The Food Hopping Saga Continues

Just because I don't blog here often, doesn't actually mean I'm inactive online. It's just that when laziness strikes, I make use of my Instagram account to keep track of my somewhat daily life. All thanks to my phone and to the Instagram team for allowing me to post my adventures in just one click! I'm sure 2/4 of the Philippine population makes use of Instagram as their mini blog nowadays. It may be accessible and more convenient than running your own blog, but I'd still prefer blogging over begging for likes through hashtags (not applicable to everyone). I guess blogging has already been a part of me since I started out eight years ago.
My Instagram, by the way, doesn't focus on food alone, but also on things that catch my interest.. and selfies, haha. It's, more or less, a compilation of my personal life.
**Note: Applications used for the photos are Afterlight ($0.99) and VSCO cam (free).

Reisz's Day

Family bonding

That kid on the upper right side of the picture, by the way, is my niece, Reisz. She asked me to take a picture of her while waiting for our food. (Haha) It's not her birthday, but I opt to name this entry as "Reisz's day" because I can't think of any other decent title at all.

Yesterday, my family (excluding my father and brother) and I went to the mall to look for Reisz's costume for their upcoming Halloween party. Sorry, but I'll have to keep her outfit a secret so as to make it sound 'special'. Hush hush.

After choosing the simple, yet best costume for my ever-adorable niece, we went to SM Food Court for dinner. Mama Gie will always be mom and dad's favorite whenever they dine at Food Court. Their food is very much affordable and delicious, most especially their boneless milkfish and lechon kawali. I know you can afford to cook these viands yourself, but the way they prepare their food makes it irresistibly delicious that you want to have some more.

My Life Through Instagram

via Instagram

I exist on Instagram too. I sometimes utilize it to record my daily life, regardless of how special or ordinary that day is. Thank goodness my iPod Touch's always available to capture such moments, but I don't officially consider it as my weapon of choice in taking pictures due to its pixelated outcome in slightly to fully shaded areas.

Anyhow, the pictures above each represents a corresponding meaning: 1) Hello Kitty bag: My company until the last day of my driving lessons (which was this afternoon), 2) Ayala Terraces: At Shakey's with mom while waiting for our order, 3) Carbonara Supreme, 4) Sunday mass: My first time to hear mass at Active Zone, Ayala.
