Last Friday, three of my companions and I had our weekly food trip activity. It was an impromptu plan to come by this restaurant since we took the wrong road in going to our planned place. It was a good decision, though, since one of my companions haven't tried the said place yet.
Retro decorations. |
While waiting for our order, I was taking picture of the place. I may have visited the place thrice, but I still can't get over their retro-ish ambiance. A very nice location for retro-inspired photo shoots (though I'm not sure if they'll allow photographers with those huge equipments around the place).
Cold Calamansi Juice for Php. 35.00. |
The first order to arrive. Amazing how they neatly decorated their Calamansi juice. Classy, indeed.
Pork Steak for Php. 200.00. |
My friend, Mae's order. It's her first time to dine in here and she was beyond happy with her choice and with the meat size.
Pork Belly for Php. 185.00. |
My order. The rice served wasn't that satisfactory, if I may add, but the viand sure was humungous. I'm a rice > viand person, but I didn't bother ordering another cup of rice due to shortage of money (this is what happens when I'm having a mini-vacation. No allowance!). Yet, I left the place with a happy tummy.
Breaded Pork Chops for Php. 190.00. |
My boyfriend's order. He's not fond of exploring other menus, so he always ends up ordering the same meal every time we revisit a certain restaurant. (Dear boyfriend, sorry for announcing your cutie secret publicly!)
Apple Chutney Chops for Php. 190.00. |
My friend, Gervie's order. Sorry for the blurry shot. I was actually in a hurry when I took this since we couldn't hold our hunger any longer. Anyway, this course comes with apple and thinly sliced cabbage.
Brownie Hot Fudge for Php. 90.00. |
One word: chewy. It's not the usual warm brownie cup you frequently encounter around. I highly recommend this if you're always game for desserts.
Cadi Shack at night. |
The light illuminated from their restaurant's name actually changes to purple, blue, and yellow from time to time. By the way, there's an actual Cadillac displayed inside (but is separated with a glass wall). I believe it's where the name "Cadi Shack" originated.
If you want to experience some get-away lunch or dinner, then I strongly suggest you to try this place out. My verdict: 9/10. Seriously a must try for every Cebuano adventurer out there. :)
